Microdermabrasion with a Hydrating Facial
What is Microdermabrasion with a hydrating facial?
Like chemical peels, microdermabrasion exfoliates and removes the superficial layer of dry and dead skin. Dermabrasion uses fine crystals to exfoliate. Similarly, the hydrating facial uses water to exfoliate, replenish and rehydrate your skin. By unclogging pores and removing dead tissue, it restores the vitality of your skin, offering the appearance of a refreshing glow with no downtime.
Applications
Useful for general facials, and reducing appearance of:
- fine lines
- age spots and blackheads
- skin discoloration
- enlarged pores
- surface and acne scars
- dry and damaged skin texture
How it Works
The hydrating facial is a painless procedure that doesn’t require any pain relief. During the procedure, a handheld probe is passed over the surface of your face. Using pressurized water, your skin is gently sanded. The outer layer of skin is debrided while also cleansing pores, removing oils, and re-administering nutrients.
The device and its serums can be adjusted for specific client skin types and needs. Optional are the different serums, blue LED light for acne prone skin, and red LED light for fine wrinkles.
What to Expect
The hydrating facial has no downtime. Immediately after the treatment, some skin types may experience slight redness to the area. Treatments can be scheduled as often as needed and can augment various other skin procedures.
